Founded by FEA/USP professors, FIA maintains a Cooperation Agreement with the University of São Paulo, which facilitates the development of joint academic programs, faculty and student exchanges, and promotes the sharing of good educational practices.

Ministry of Education (MEC)
FIA is proud to belong to the select group of the best business schools in Brazil, with Grade 5 in the MEC, the highest recognition of academic excellence for its undergraduate course in the country.
Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES)
Our Professional Master’s Degree in Business Management obtained a Grade 4 in CAPES, standing out for its robust and up-to-date curriculum, innovative teaching practices and strong connection with the market.

National MBA Association – Global Accreditation
FIA was the first Brazilian school accredited by AMBA (Association of MBAs), a title obtained in 2003 through the International Executive MBA.
AMBA has been around since 1967, is headquartered in London, and its accreditation process is independent, market-oriented, and internationally focused.
This accreditation allows for networking among MBA students, business schools, and employers and the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and best practices.
National MBA Association (ANAMBA) – Global Accreditation
In 2006, FIA was accredited by ANAMBA (National Association of MBAs), whose mission is to contribute to excellence in MBA courses through the development of parameters that guide the structuring and offering of these courses.
ANAMBA seeks to keep the market informed about the quality of the programs offered in Brazil, helping candidates to choose a good MBA program and schools to maintain their standard of teaching excellence.
EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development)
Since 2023, our International Executive MBA and International MBA Programs have been accredited by EFMD.
This recognition guarantees a standard of excellence and positions them among the best MBAs in the world.
In addition, we are engaged in the pursuit of EQUIS accreditation, valid for the entire Institution.

FIA is the first Brazilian institution to be classified in the QS Stars Ranking, an evaluation system developed by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). With a high worldwide reputation, FIA stands out in QS Stars with the highest score (5 Stars) for excellence in teaching, employability, management and business education and online education.

The British newspaper elected the Executive MBA as the 25th best in the Americas, the only one from a Brazilian institution to appear in this ranking, in addition to pointing out the quality of the student staff of the Fundação Instituto de Administração, as the 6th most experienced in the world.

The FIA is affiliated with AACSB and is in the final process of accreditation.
This international organization is one of the most recognized and respected, and its accreditation signals compliance with high standards of excellence in teaching, curriculum, resources, and student outcomes.
Brazilian Association of Distance Education - ABED
ABED is a non-profit scientific association created to stimulate the development of projects in Distance Education in all its forms and encourage the practice of the highest quality in services for students, teachers, institutions and companies that use online teaching.
PMI (Project Management Institute)
Since 2002, through the GPRO Nucleus – Project Management, FIA is an Institution approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI) ® to issue PDUs (Professional Development Units) in its training courses in Project Management, becoming part of a restricted group of REP (Registered Education Provider) programs, a kind of certification that recognizes the international standard of the course in the field of education in Project Management.
PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education)
Developed in 2007 by a group of universities with the objective of disseminating social responsibility practices in executive education based on the UN Global Compact.
The FIA has been a member of the PRME since 2011.
